Data

Production, Supply, and Distribution (PS&D) contains official USDA data on production, supply, and distribution of agricultural commodities for the United States and major importing and exporting countries. The database provides projections for the coming year and historical data for more than 200 countries and major crop, livestock, fishery, and forest products.

Foreign Agricultural Trade of the United States (FATUS) provides U.S. agricultural exports and imports, volume and value, by country, by commodity, and by calendar year, fiscal year, and month, for varying periods, such as 1935 to the present or 1989 to the present. Updated monthly or annually.

International Baseline Data provide information on the 10-year international agricultural projections developed by USDA, Interagency Agricultural Projections Committee. The projections provide foreign countries’—including India—detailed long-run supply, demand, and trade for major agricultural commodities and major exporting and importing countries and regions.

International Macroeconomic Data Set provides historical and projected data for 181 countries that account for more than 99 percent of the world economy. Macroeconomic projections describe the long-term scenario that is used as a benchmark for analyzing the impacts of alternative scenarios and macroeconomic shocks. The projections assume there are no changes in policy and abstract from business cycle effects.

International Food Security provides regional and sub-regional level data for the demand for grains—food and non-food—grain production, and the implied additional grain supply requirement (IASR) for the current year and for 10 years out.

Agricultural Market Access Database (AMAD) is a publicly available information tool for analyzing World Trade Organization (WTO) market access issues in agriculture. It contains data and information on WTO member countries including tariff schedules, tariff bindings, applied tariff rates, country notifications to the WTO, import quantities, and other data useful in tariff analysis.
