Briefly
Dr. J. Wesley Burnett is a microeconomist with research interests in energy, climate change, and natural resource economics. He studied applied economics at the University of Georgia (primary field: environmental and natural resource economics; secondary field: econometrics). Before joining USDA's Economic Research Service, he served 10 years as a professor at West Virginia University and the College of Charleston, respectively. He has published nearly two dozen peer-reviewed research articles pertaining to energy and natural resource economics.
