Introduction

Wendy Zeng is a research agricultural economist with the International Trade and Development Branch in the Market and Trade Economics Division (MTED) of the USDA Economic Research Service (ERS).

Background

Wendy joined ERS in 2021. Her research interests lie in macroeconomics, labor, and development.

Education

Wendy earned her Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Economics from the University of California, San Diego—with specializations in macroeconomics, labor economics, and spatial economics. She earned a B.S. degree (with a dual major in mathematics and economics, cum laude) from Cornell University.
