Chandler Zachary is an agricultural economist in the Food Markets Branch in the Food Economics Division (FED). His primary responsibilities include support for the Food Dollar Series data product.

Background

Chandler joined ERS in 2021 following a year with USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS). He has broad research interests in food markets and the effects of access to nutrition, as well as computational methods in economics and statistics. He worked in banking and finance for about 5 years prior to attending graduate school.
