More than three-fourths of 93 vegetables studied cost less than $1 per cup equivalent in 2022

In May 2024, USDA, Economic Research Service updated cost estimates for 155 fresh and processed fruit and vegetable products. They found almost half the 62 fruits and more than three-fourths of the 93 vegetables studied cost less than $1 per cup equivalent in 2022.
