A stacked bar shows that the number of firms employing H-2A through farm labor contractors (FLCs) increased nearly 800 percent between 2010 and 2019.

Between 2010 and 2019, positions certified as H-2A temporary agricultural workers increased more than 220 percent. The increase was most pronounced in sectors with high labor requirements and seasonal employment, such as fruit and tree nuts and vegetables and melons producers.
