Trina Weilert is the Research Support Branch Chief in the Information Services Division at the Economic Research Service (ERS).

Background

Trina joined ERS as a Supervisory Geographer overseeing the Research Support Branch within the Information Services Division. Prior she worked for 6 years at Risk Management Agency on Federal Crop Insurance programs. She has 20 years’ experience between the private and public sectors using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). She also has a PhD in Geosciences and Social Sciences. Other professional accomplishments and experience include over 10 years of experience teaching GIS courses to undergraduate and graduate students.
