Briefly

Lauren Miller is an agricultural economist in the Food Assistance Branch in the Food Economics Division. She joined the branch in 2021. Currently, she is working on projects related to the National Household Food Acquisition and Purchase Survey (FoodAPS) and various aspects of food acquisition, access, and security.

Background

Prior to joining the Food Economics Division, Lauren has been a part of research teams studying a span of agricultural and environmental topics. Past projects that she was involved with include financial projections and producer welfare estimates for cattle ranching in Wyoming and a statewide survey of the wild blueberry industry in Maine. Her research interests include various aspects of food choice and food access.
