Fawzi Taha is an Agricultural Research Economist with a research focus on domestic and international poultry markets.

Background

Fawzi Taha has been an Agricultural Research Economist at ERS in the Market Trade Economic Division (MTED) since 1985. He is currently a member of the Animal Products and Cost of Production Branch.  Previous ERS assignments included the Africa and Middle East Branch (1985-1991), Asia Japan Section (1991-1997), Developed Market Economics Branch (1997-2001), Animal Products Branch (2001-2009), and Food Security and Development Branch (2009-2017).  Previously he was an FAO Consultant on formulating national food security policy options to the Cabinet of the Yemen Arab Republic (1983-1985).
