Cole Ehmke is the Assistant Outreach Coordinator in the Resource and Rural Economics Division of USDA’s Economic Research Service (ERS). He is responsible for editing and managing the production of the division’s Amber Waves articles and Charts of Note.

Background

Cole joined ERS as an agricultural economist in 2022. Previously Cole was a faculty member in the Agricultural Economics Department at the University of Wyoming and the Center for Food and Agricultural Business at Purdue University.

Education

Cole earned a master’s in agricultural economics from the University of Sydney (Australia) and a bachelor’s in economics from Bethany College.
