Ashley Murdie

Ashley Murdie joined USDA’s Economic Research Service (ERS) in 2020 after serving 4 years with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Prior to her federal service, Murdie served as director of communications for the Office of Kansas State Treasurer and as a public affairs officer with the U.S. Air Force. Throughout her 14-years of experience in communications, Murdie has coordinated both national and international media relations, crisis response efforts, public health campaigns, targeted social media outreach, high-profile press events, community relations and a broad array of internal staff communications.
