For PC users (Windows 98, 2000 and XP):
Internet Explorer v. 7 or higher, Firefox v. 24 or higher, and Chrome v. 29 or higher.

Note: Customers using Internet Explorer 11 may need adjustments.

For Mac users (OS 10.6):
Safari 1.x

While the ERS web site will generally function in many other browser/platform combinations, any combination not specified above may not display pages optimally or provide the functionality needed to fully use the site.

For best results, regardless of browser/OS platform, users should enable JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Although these features are not required unless specifically noted within the content, these features will help provide the most consistent overall look and feel.


We have a large number of documents in Adobe Acrobat® Portable Document Format (PDF).

PDF format is used to preserve the content and layout of our hard copy publications. Publications in PDF can only be viewed and printed using the Adobe Acrobat Reader®, version 5.0 or higher. You can download and get help using the Acrobat Reader at the Adobe Systems, Inc. site. The downloadable Acrobat Reader software is available at NO CHARGE from Adobe. Documents created in Microsoft Word, and Spreadsheets created in Microsoft Excel can be viewed with Microsoft Office software, or for those that do not have the software, a FREE viewer is available that you can download at Microsoft's Office Support Center.

The ERS website uses the Flash format for interactive content. In order to access Flash content, users will need the browser-based plug-in installed.
