10-Year Agricultural baseline Projections (Feb. 13, 2012)
Long-term agricultural baseline projections to 2021 cover major commodities, trade, and aggregate farm-sector indicators such as farm income and food prices. Projections assume specific conditions for U.S. and global economic conditions, weather, and policy.
   
2012 Farm Income Forecast Down, but Still High (Feb. 13, 2012)
For 2012, net farm income is forecast at $91.7 billion, down 6.5 percent from the 2011 forecast, but still the second-highest nominal value on record. Median total farm household income is expected to rise by 1.8 percent in 2011 to $55,131, reaching $55,805 in 2012.
