Seth J. Wechsler



Seth Wechsler is an agricultural economist in the Structure, Technology, and Productivity branch of the Resource and Rural Economics Division. His tenure as a staff economist began in late 2014. Seth’s research interests include Pest Control, Resistance Management, Biotechnology, and Technology Adoption. He is particularly interested in developing structural models of farmers' pest control decisions.


Seth received a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland. He received a B.A. in Economics from Duke University.
