Lori Lynch

Briefly:

Lori Lynch is Chief of the Conservation and Environment branch.  Prior to joining ERS in 2014, Lori was a Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Maryland.  Her current research focuses on policy effectiveness for conservation and land protection.  Recent work has incorporated experimental economics into policy design analysis.



Education:

Lori received a Ph.D in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California at Berkeley in 1996, a MS in Agricultural Economics and BS in International Relations from the University of California, Davis.



Professional Affiliations:

Lori is a member of the American Economic Association, the American Agricultural Economics Association, North East Agricultural and Resource Economics Association and the Society of Soil and Water Conservation. She currently serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Soil and Water Conservation.
