Data on this diskette are in the form of three Lotus 1-2-3 worksheet files
(.WK1).  Cash rent data are found in rents1.wk1 and rents2.wk1.

Generally, there are cash rents per acre for farms, cropland, and pasture for
the eastern states for 1960-96 and cash rents as a percent of value.  For the 
western states, cash rents per acre are shown for irrigated cropland, non-
irrigated cropland, and pasture for 1984-96.

Cattle grazing rates on privately owned nonirrigated land for 17 western
states for 1979-95 are found in CATTLE90.wk1.
