The data are from a variety of sources.

Where can I find more state and county information?

Additional data on population, income, employment, and many other topics can be found at the Census Bureau's American Fact Finder web page. The Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Bureau of Economic Analysis have a wider range of state and county inflormation concerning employment, income, and other economic areas. More information on agriculture is available at the National Agricultural Service's Quick Stats: Agricultural Statistics Data Base.
