Farm Income: Data Files

U.S. Farm Income Data (Go To State Estimates, or see Important Notes About County-Level Estimates)

These are the latest data concerning the farm income forecast, national and State net value added, net cash income, cash receipts, government payments, production expenses, capital replacement costs, number of farms, land in farms, and real estate values. A discussion of the latest forecast is in the farm income forecast briefing room. A discussion of the 2010 State and national farm income estimates is in the farm income briefing room.

The forecast will be updated February 2012.

Important Notes About County-Level Estimates

ERS doesn't report data at the county level. The primary source of county data is the Census of Agriculture, conducted every 5 years by the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS). NASS does have an office in most States, which might also be a useful source, see their State office directory
