ERS contributes to both short- and long-run sugar and
sweetener market outlook activities. Working with personnel
from USDA's World Agricultural Outlook Board (WAOB), Farm
Services Agency (FSA), and Foreign Agricultural Service
(FAS), ERS analysts contribute to monthly estimates of
sugar supply, use, and ending stocks that are reported
in WAOB's monthly World
Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report.
Sugar and
Sweeteners Outlook is published monthly and contains analyses of developments in U.S. and Mexican sugar markets. Recurring features also include analyses of developments in world sugar markets and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) market.
