Vegetable and Melon Data is a work in progress that presently contains detailed U.S. export and import data, producer and retail price indexes, and a few retail prices. Eventually, it will encompass (and extend) all the time series data currently contained in the Vegetables and Melons Yearbook and in our individual commodity data sets. Updated monthly, it will provide users with more timely access to vegetable and melon data.
U.S. Potato Statistics (January 2008) provides historical time-series data (Excel format) describing the U.S. potato industry.
- State Production—Acreage, yield, production, value, and disposition by State back to 1949.
- National Production—Utilization, per capita use, stocks, monthly shipments, along with consumer and producer price indices for potato products.
