FANRP sponsors numerous conferences to encourage interaction
among researchers and policymakers. Two are held annually:
- Food Assistance and Nutrition Research Conference:
Emerging Issues and Recent Findings.
- Food Assistance and Nutrition Research Innovation and
Development Grants in Economics (RIDGE) Program Conference.
Other conferences are hosted to address timely and policy-relevant
topics and are often co-sponsored with other institutions,
such as the Institute for Research on Poverty at the University
of Wisconsin-Madison, the Rural Policy Research Institute,
and the Farm Foundation.
